The BCHA Guardians are the athletic teams representing the Bell County Homeschool Association (BCHA), based right out of the Belton and Temple area.

They provide a structured, competitive sports program specifically for home-educated middle school and high school student-athletes in Central Texas.

The Guardians compete regionally against other homeschool associations, private academies, and charter schools, often participating in leagues like TAIAO (Texas Association of Independent Athletic Organizations) and the ACAA (Austin Christian Athletic Association).

Core Sports Offered: They have established programs in Basketball (including Varsity, JV, and Middle School boys squads), Volleyball (which includes seasonal camps and clinics for middle and high school girls), and  Archery.

Location & Facilities: While they serve families all across Bell County and the surrounding areas (including Copperas Cove, Gatesville, and South Waco), they are centered in Belton (along with the archery program) and their home gym for basketball and volleyball is located in Troy. 

Structure: Like many homeschool athletic programs, the Guardians operate largely as a volunteer-driven, non-profit community model. They rely heavily on parent involvement, local sponsorships, and volunteer coaching to keep participation fees manageable for families.
